My life philosophy

With a positive outlook on life, I strive to solve problems as quickly as possible.
For me, the most important thing is physical, mental, and emotional harmony in all areas of life.
I constantly work on creating inner balance. I engage in active pursuits, such as sports: I practice yoga daily, walk 4-5 times a week, and occasionally hike, swim, cycle, and in winter, I ice skate. I always set new goals for myself—currently, I aim to complete the Blue Trail hiking route. I also make sure to take time to rest. I go for massages, visit spas and saunas weekly. I read when time allows, alongside writing professional materials or my biography, and engaging in joyful cooking sessions. I solve Sudoku puzzles and play Wordle, listen to music, and watch various sports.

External balance is rooted in inner harmony, complemented by tolerance and appreciation of others’ values.
My active life is presumably in harmony with the movements of the universe.
My profession as a chef greatly contributes to my inner harmony, as cooking is a joyful process—it feels good to create and prepare food from ingredients. When someone enjoys the meal, they find joy in it too. It makes me happy and fills me with energy to see that.

During my nearly four decades of intergenerational work in higher education, I aimed to pass on both traditional and trendy knowledge of Hungarian and international gastronomy, while continuing to learn myself. I performed my teaching duties with the highest professional standards, humility, and a touch of humor.
According to the feedback I’ve received, through my example, I have become a role model.
With persistent diligence, even the dreams I never dared to dream have come true.
