He was born in 1965 in Szentendre.
Between 1979 and 1982, he was a student at the Ecseri Road Hospitality Vocational School, where he obtained his chef qualification and participated in a national student competition. From 1979 to 1988, he was a culinary apprentice at the Hotel Duna Intercontinental, later becoming a chef and deputy head chef. Between 1990 and 1992, he worked as a chef and head chef at the Hotel Haus Strengberg in Puchberg, Austria.
Afterwards, he was head chef at the Várkert Casino until 2003. Meanwhile, from 1994 to 2007, he was a permanent contributor to the magazine Konyhaművészet. In parallel, he was a member of the wine college, a taster for Borkalauz (1995–2004), and between 1999 and 2003, a permanent contributor to the magazine Borbarát.
In 2000, he earned the title of master chef, became a founding member of the Association of Hungarian Head Chefs, and served on its board until 2006. Between 2001 and 2005, he was a practical instructor and adjunct lecturer at BGF KVIFK, and in 2006, he passed his state exam at the same institution in the field of hospitality vocational instructor. From 2003 to 2006, he was a member of the supervisory board of the Hungarian National Gastronomic Association.
From 2003 onwards, he has worked as a food stylist, giving lectures, conducting further training, and organizing events. Between 2008 and 2010, he was a practical instructor and adjunct lecturer at Kodolányi János College, and from 2011 to 2013, he also taught at the Gundel Károly Hospitality and Tourism Technical School.
He remains actively involved in the gastronomic scene and is a key figure in the renewal and European alignment of Hungarian cuisine. Currently, within the framework of the Hungarian Bocuse d’Or Academy—as in previous years—he directs the preparation of the national team.
